You’re a veteran of the United States military and you’re in the midst of submitting a compensation or pension claim with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.  You’re doing this not because you want to but because you’ve been forced to submit a claim due to a serious injury or illness that was caused by your military service.  No worries you thought, right?  The VA claim system is weighted in your favor.  It’s not adversarial.  The VA is there to help you present your claim.

Then your claim was submitted and truth was told.

The Veterans Law Blog is here to help.  We provide information on successfully presenting claims for VA benefits, appealing claims to the Board of Veterans Appeals (BVA) and the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims (CAVC), legal developments in VA law, the occasional (or not so occasional) VA scandal, and just general news about the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.  We’re not here to tout our successes.  We’re here to provide you with some straight talk and some serious information.

Check out our blog and news stories.  If you have a question, leave us a message on our feedback page and we’ll cover it in a future post here at the Veterans Law Blog.
